Every once in a while -- for unexplained reasons -- I find a duplicate item in a grid where it doesn't belong.
 
For example, tonight a copy of a sub-item  created in my journal grid ended up in the contacts grid.
When I try to erase / delete it, IQ only offers remove entirely, not remove from this grid only. Therefore I can't remove it.
If I look in all available fields, the item's parent | grandparent & grid name are properly listed as journal 04/30/09 & 04/09
but not so in contacts
there is no indication that it should be there yet it is there
 
This situation has arisen more than once. I don't know how it happens
Closing & re-opening program &/or grid does not alter the situation
 
I think this is a bug of some kind.

I need specifics to be able to help you. If you can give the list of filled fields and the grid source that it should not appear in, I should be able to explain (unless it is a real bug, which I doubt)
