Launching tags from Tags grid

1) Is there any way to launch tags directly from the tags grid? 

2) Can I display the Tags field in the Tags grid and assign tags to themselves so I can launch them from the Tags grid? 
 

#2 works but it's a big job to manually assign everything and I don't know if it would cause unforeseen problems.

I'm not asking for a new feature, just what's available now that I might not be seeing.  I re-read the manual and didn't find anything there.  Was hoping the TagID column would display links like the Tags field does, but it doesn't.

Hi Wayne,

You could create a smart field, say TagLink, and set it to be a hyperlink to the field TagID. I can help you create it if you want. Then simply show it in the Tags grid.

Sorry, I forgot to check back.  Yes, I'd like to see how you create a smart field.  I've never used them.

Update: How about my proposed solution of assigning tags to themselves so you get a tag launch link in the Tags grid?   I tried a few and it seemed to work but would this cause any problems?
 

If I can do that, I'm fine with just using that method and you don't have to spend time on a Smart Field equation.

How do I ?
