I have a hierarchy equation set up to add groups of sub totals on a single grid, the sub-totals are monthly sub-totals. I would like to drag and drop between the monthly sub-totals and have the sub-totals recompute. The drag to sub-total adds correctly, but the drag from sub-total does not subtract out the amount. Is there a way to do this automatically or at least manualy, Refresh has no effect.

Eventually, this will be automatic (it is tricky to do and keep good performance). Right now you can select the moved cell and do Edit>>Touch (Touch was removed from the context menu and I've just now added it to the Edit menu, so either wait for version D or add it to your menu, it is under All Commands)

You can also select the total and do Edit>>Recalculate (Shift-F9)

Okay the recalc worked, could not find the Touch under All Commands. The auto-recalc will be nice, is that part of D? I'm working a more comprehensive sales template that I will upload to the site when I finish.

A couple of other questions, I have entered the sales opportunity under the company name in the Address Book, then creating another link to the month it is occurring in the Funnel grid.
1. Is there a way to assign a month to the CloseDate field (I show a day and year here, but don't think I really need it) in the Funnel grid, when I do the Ctrl+drag? It would be based on the month of the Sub-total group, e.g Mar Sub-Total, would assign Mar to the CloseDate field.
2. Related, if I drag the "deal" to another month in the Funnel grid can I automatically update the CloseDate to the appropriate month, drag from Mar to Apr, change CloseDate to Apr? And/or if I manually change the CloseDate can it be regrouped in the new monthly Sub-total as designated by the CloseDate?
3. I've tried to show the parent (Company Name) above the "deal sub-item" in the Funnel grid, but with no luck. Is the "deal sub-item" too far down in the hierarchy? I would rather not have to repeat the company name in the deal description, "Deal ABC."
4. Lastly, can you point me to information on doing an item color assign, the color would be dependent on a combination of checkmark fields, not just one field. Mostly looking for the syntax to use. I can do a simple auto-assign, but need direction on a more complicated expression.
