Hi,

I use infoqube for organize and trackint my project and task.

Now I've to coordinate a project that request to operate various task on a massive ammount of server (about 2000)

I've structured a mssql db to record data about the server and the task, the problem is that this db could be verified and updated daily.

My first idea was to create a simple series of web pages to track and apply the change but it requires time.

Now I'm thinking to use infoqube to interface my db. The idea was to use the program to track, organize and change my data on db.

The point is if infoqube is able to view data from a table or view and to change data on the db table when I change data on the grid.

What do you think ?

IQ can view data from external databases; see www.sqlnotes.net/drupal5/index.php

However, the view is read-only - see www.sqlnotes.net/drupal5/index.php - which also suggests that it might be possible to update a database on a record-by-record basis from VBScript. But this won't be straightforward, I think.
