It appears to me that when a user copies something from an external source into IQ, that data remains in the cache until it is replaced. I'm not sure what (if any) harm this might cause but it might make more sense to have the cache clear as the clipped data is dumped into IQ.
There's also something weird gong on that goes like this:
Example, user browsing / researching the internet.
User clips data & saves as mht (that's my default because all data is kept in one place)
User switches focus to or restores IQ from task bar
Clipped data appears in the html pane wherever the focus is, i.e. IQ has not changed to a new item w this data
so, for example
focus could be on an item like "Send Pierre a xmas card"
but in html pane
data may be about rescuing dogs.
Now it is true that if user switches grid to Journal, everything will fall into its proper place, i.e. new item w clipped data in html pane
but that first glance @ the data is weird IMHO.
