InfoQube is constantly using 5+% CPU on my machine, even when in the background.  It also has the most Context Switches on my machine. I really don't see why it should be grinding away when its in the background.

And, while the GDI usage has gotten better its still the biggest GDI user after Firefox.

Because of its high resource usage I've gotten in the habit now of quitting InfoQube when I am not actively using it, which means I'm not really using it that much anymore :(. Instead I am throwing stuff in text and word documents and doing outlines in Bonsai instead. I had planned to move a lot of that to IQ, but I can't until I can leave InfoQube running all the time.

And GDI is discussed in Default Grids to display on start-up.

Hi !

The CPU usage can be improved (mine sits at 1-4%... when compared to FF...)

The resource usage was fixed, using an updated grid component. However, it had issues (related to filtering) and I had to return to the old version. I'm working with the grid manufacturer to solve this.

in v0.9.25W9, when IQ is not the focussed application, I disable UI-related events processing. CPU then drops to 0-1%.

Thanks, much better!

Still way too many Context Switches though, I guess you plan to address those when switch DB APIs?
