I still can't get InfoQube to maintain manual sorts.  The sort order repeatedly gets scrambled and i have to manually re-sort.

Is this on the list for improvement?  I know we've discussed it a few times in the past.

Settings = Grid> Filter and Sort >  Sort > None (Manual)

Is it possible that you do the following:

  1. Apply a filter
  2. Re-order TLI items
  3. Remove the filter

If you can reproduce it in a sample IQBase, please send it over with detailed steps

Has nothing to do with filters.  Has been going on from the very beginning for me (10+ years).

It happens 100% of the time when the program locks up, which is a couple of times a day for me.  But it happens plenty of other times, too, but not every time, so I can't reproduce it.

If you never run into it on your system, there's nothing to be done.

Hi Wayne,

Got it. In the next version, Top level item sort position will be saved after any change, not just when closing the grid. This should help you recover from IQ crashes much more elegantly.

As to crashes themselves, my database never crashes... so if and when you want to resolve this issue, please let me  know

How do I ?
