 When I click on certain fields in a form, the properties pane freezes.
 
If the field has a drop down arrow and I click on that arrow, the properties pane will not register any further clicks until the pane is shut down and reopened.  However, the rest of IQ remains accessible.  When it is a text field with a pop-up box, it doesn't matter if I type in it first or not, a click on the arrow results in a freeze.  With a date field, it will shut down when the arrow is clicked first, but if a partial value is entered, e.g 12/15, the arrow can be clicked on and the mini calendar displays.  The arrows can be clicked on in number fields without problem.
 
Anyone else having issues here?

Confirmed. I saw this happen with text fields with multiple choices. Problems with date fields too.
 
Clicking in the grid and back to the pane fixes the issue. However the drop down menu remains inaccessible.
 
AJR, can you enter that in Mantis ?

Additional note : it doesn't happen only in forms. The whole properties pane is affected.

 I can't get into Mantis with my account name and password.  Does Pierre need to give me access or is it a wholly separate account?

Hi Pierre,
Today I clicked on a drop down menu arrow in the properties pane and the properties pane just froze. This is easily reproduceable in my DB, with a field having Auto-List "ON".
So, basically, this isn't completely fixed after all.

I tried with a sample DB and can't reproduce it. I recreated the exact same field... To no avail. However, this does happen everytime with my everyday DB. Maybe does this have to do with the length of the auto list ? I don't have the time to try right now.

If you still have my emptied DB somewhere, you should be able to test and confirm that easily :
 
1- Open the dB (name : "Copy of my SQLNotes Database.Encrypt.Decrypt.SNDB"   -- still on dropbox)
2- open properties pane and go to the "project (name)" field
3- This field has a drop down menu with all  kinds of weird code names : click on the arrow.
4- the properties pane freezes.
 
If you want to see what the "project (name)" field drop down menu looks like,
 
1- open the task grid (or the project grid)
2- create an item
3- click on the "project (name)" field (the 4th or 5th column from the left)

(happens when the properties pane caption is different than the field name. In your case Armando, you added an icon to the field name)
