I have this file :

E:\Doct\xNO-.Mnz.(2008 02)__farr plugin - Find and run robot - Google dictionary__+test+.htm

Notice the "+" signs at the end, around "test". I use these characters in all my file names to delimit tags. Now, the HTML can't find files with  "+" signs.

The error message confirms that (notice the absence of "+" signs :

File not found: E:\Doct\xNO-.Mnz.(2008 02)__farr plugin - Find and run robot - Google dictionary__ test .htm. Could not load content.

This is an other important issue (for me) as I have many links in the ItemHTMLFile field containing the "+" character, and none of these will open...

I never noticed that bug before. I guess it's relatively new. Of course, I wonder if there are other chars which will create problems -- maybe.

Comments

Note that the "+" sign also disappears in the properties pane after the HTML pane tries to display the file.

Seems to work correctly here (with the new version). Perhaps it is fixed. Please check and report back.
