Also, I dont use Word - I use Textmaker from Softmaker/SoftOffice

I create an item: 'Test01'

I open a pdf file in the html pane

I delete the item

I create a new item: 'Test02'

I open a doc file - it opens externally in Textmaker - BUT - simultaneously the pdf file from the deleted item ('Test01') opens in the HTML pane

EDIT/ just to be clear:-

Now, when I click on the item (Test02), the pdf file shows in the HTML pane AND the doc file opens externally

EDIT - I didnt save any of these files!

I did exactly what you described and the same thing happens.

This could be mantised.

Humm... can you report back the ItemIDs of both Test01 and Test02 ? Are they the same ?

Hi Pierre :

1- Create an item (test1)

2- open a pdf file in the HTML pane.

3- pdf loads in the HTML pane

4- Now delete the item (ctrl-E)

5- Create another item (test2)

6- Open a doc or whatever (XLS...) file in the HTML pane

7- The last pdf (from previous item) will load in the pane and a the doc (or whatever) file will open in an external window.

(Actually, the doc file doesn't open directly but a dialog entitled "File Download" appears and offers me to Open, save or cancel the Doc file. If I choose open, it opens in an external window.

8- Browse to another item and come back : Pdf loads in the pane, and the DOc opens in an external window.

this happens everytime here. If you need a screencast, I can provide it.
