This has been mentioned once or twice already (I'll link the other threads later).
To summarize again :
1- I erased something in the filter text box
2- So I pressed CTRL-Z to recover what I just lost...
3- And it undid something else... Something happened in the DB (mouse cursor changed to the hourglass).
4- The very annoying thing is that I have no idea what was undone because this happened after I had been away from my computer for a short while. So I immediately pressed ctrl-y but nothing at all seemed to happen. :(
This is not the first time it happens to me, and it doesn't happen only in that specific case.
E.g. : if you're in editing mode, pressing undo has no effect on the cell edition but will undo something else, completely opaquely (without any cues to what has been undone...).
Unfortunately, I haven't documented all the cases where that happens, but here are three (maybe are those the only ones...?).
a- While editing the source/filter/sort box, CTRL-Z doesn't undo anything in these textboxes but something in the DB (opaquely).
b- While editing some grid cell content (cell editing mode), CTRL-Z doesn't undo anything in the cell but something in the DB (opaquely).
c- While entering/editing data in the *column filter* text box, , CTRL-Z doesn't undo anything in these textboxes but something in the DB (opaquely).
