No text contrast when a dark "selected item back color" is chosen

v1.125.2 - In dark mode, when a dark "selected item back color" is chosen, the text is also dark and consequently become illegible. In v1.125.1 it worked fine.
I don't see an option to change the text color on selected (and previously selected) item, which would solve the problem. I would also appreciate if you added a color setting option for previously selected item back color (applies to situations when you navigate between grids open in different windows).

Obsidian Sync: The question of file name length limits

Submitted by lucasd on 2024/04/24 18:55

For those of us who like to use IQ Grids for writing rather than using the Document Pane, the question of file name length limits will be a key question when it comes to syncing with Obsidian. Based on some initial searching, it sounds like Windows file paths are typically limited to 260 characters, but that limit can be lifted. And it sounds like Android limits are typically similar, although on some phones it could be half that. So I guess I could just have a Grid that collects any items that are too long... Any thoughts?

Obsidian Sync: Option to enclose certain fields in quotes?

Obsidian Sync is working great. One thing that's not working: I have some IQ fields that start with "@". In Obsidian, to use fields beginning with "@" in YAML, you have to enclose the field name in quotes. (This happens automatically in Obsidian: if you use the non-source-code view to add such a field to the YAML, when you look at the source code, you will see that the quotes have been added.) So, for now, when IQ syncs such fields, this leads Obsidian to consider the YAML invalid.

Obsidian Sync: Works great with new "Bearings" plugin!

Many thanks, Pierre, for the new Obsidian Sync! Totally awesome.

In a stroke of good timing, a brand-new Obsidian plugin has just been released a few days ago that makes it possible to navigate the IQ item hierarchy from within Obsidian, even on mobile:

All I had to do was to configure the plugin to use "Parents" as the parent field, and now the plugin displays full IQ hierarchy trees for all items.

Some text foreground colors in the grid are off in 1.125.0Pre7

Set text / "foreground" color for an item in a grid, the color that is actually used in the grid is much darker than the color chosen from the menu / a dialog. For example, this nice bright pale red tone

will come out as something nastily brownish.

It does not seem to affect all colors but for me it definitely happens for R255/G90/B90 as well as some others.

Ctrl+Tab switch from Home Page to Tags grid triggers immediate crash

I had way too many grids open, so I started going through them using Ctrl+Tab and using Ctrl+W to close unneeded grids.  At one point I used Ctrl+Tab to tab from the Home Page to the Tags grid.  When I did this IQ crashed immediately.  I tried it again after restarting IQ and it crashed again.  After restart I tried just clicking on the Tags grid to see if that would trigger the crash, but it did not; the Tags grid loaded as it should.  I closed the Tags grid with a mouse click to prevent further crashes.
