Pierre, I updated everything microsoft on my notebook but I'm still unable to run IQ. You'll need to post the list of ddl's etc that I'll need so I can search to see what's missing.  Sorry for the extra work. Thanks

Comparing the list of controls supplied in the IQ portable zip file and the controls required to compile, I get the following list of extra controls which are normally installed by Windows:
  1. \WINDOWS\System32\msscript.ocx
  2. \WINDOWS\system32\stdole2.tlb
  3. \Program Files\Common Files\system\ado\msado15.dll
  4. \Program Files\Common Files\system\ole db\oledb32.dll
  5. \Program Files\Common Files\System\ado\msadox.dll
  6. \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll
  7. \WINDOWS\System32\vbscript.dll
  8. \WINDOWS\System32\tapi3.dll
  9. \WINDOWS\system32\mshtml.tlb
  10. \WINDOWS\system32\mscomctl.ocx

Sorry, I should have offered that to everyone.
 
Very simply, I took your list of dll files
searched one by one for them on my notebook
the last one was not on my drive
I searched the file name on google
downloaded & moved it to the correct directory (windows\system)
