Lots of bugs appear in the "What's New" page.
No worries : most aren't new...  Only, I've done some Fall cleaning so that Pierre can make better use of Mantis.

So, for the next 2 weeks, after discussing it briefly with Pierre, I'm going to try this strategy (for future bugs and suggestions only... Most older ones should be in Mantis, and if not, we'll enter them again when we notice/remember them):

1- enter all discussed and confirmed suggestions/bugs from the forum in Mantis.
2- insert the forum thread reference in Mantis,
3- insert the Mantis reference (Issue ID) at the end the corresponding thread(s)
4- add an "(M)" tag at the end of all thread title for easy identification (putting the entire Mantis reference could be too much, especially when there are many mantis issues reported in the same thread)

Of course, if you want to do it yourself, that's great too -- just make sure it's confirmed to not pollute Mantis with too much useless stuff, and include the references as mentioned in #2.

Thanks everyone!

:-)
