I just downloaded the compiled CHM user manual (via the link at www.sqlnotes.net/drupal5/index.php ) and got the following error if I clicked on any of the help entries after extracting the Zip file to my Windows Vista desktop:

I found it in HTML Help version of the manual?. Maybe Jibz could put this info on the chm download pg

- Right click on the *.CHM file
2- Click on "properties"
3- In the properties dialog go to the "General" tab
4- Below the advanced button at the bottom right, click on "Unblock" (note that this button will disappear once the file is unblocked)
5- Click on "apply".
That should do it.

Thanks for pointing this out....I've downloaded and used (not InfoQube) CHM files before, and never had to do this...but it worked for the IQ CHM!

I agree that noting this near the CHM download link would probably help other users also...

Thanks again!

This perhaps has to do with the way the CHM file is generated, the way the HTM files are referenced.

There is a known issue with CHM (for security reasons), when referencing network files. Perhaps, this is linked to our issue.

Could you also add the CHM file note on usage to the download link at http://www.sqlnotes.net/drupal5/index.php?q=node/48 ?  That's where I originally downloaded it from, after clicking on the IQ User Manual link under Documentation on the left side of the Community Website...

This will help in case someone goes to download it without searching and finding the note on the fix....

That's a good idea, thanks.

I have added Armando's description of the fix to the forum post I am maintaining with the latest build of the CHM version.
