Version v0.9.25W is just about ready for release. A little bit more testing to do.

 

I'll be on holidays till Wednesday, Aug. 24th and will release it shortly after.

 

 

 

When I close IQ with a grid open, often all fields are gone on restart.

Happens in different grids. Save item state is selected.

 

My IQ "install" is fairly recent.

 

Sorry I cant be any more specific. I can give screenshot of options if that might help(?)

 

Anyone else seeing this problem?

I'm a new user and not sure where the best place is to post this, so I'm just using the General Discussions forum.

 

I installed InfoQube some time ago, and am finally getting around to trying it out, but I immediately ran into a problem that has really been frustrating me.

 

I apologize if my terminology is incorrect; I hope I can at least make myself understood. I have the sample database loaded and see two panes: an item outline pane and an HTML pane. There is a big white space in between the two that is wasted space which I would like to use -- especially since the HTML pane is quite narrow for comfortable reading. So I would like to resize the HTML pane to fill in the white space. When I hover over the bar separating the panes, I see a resize icon ( a vertical "pipe" with left- and right-pointing arrows). However, if I left click and drag left to resize, it doesn't work.

I've set the backup, to "Backup on program close" and "Auto-backup every x minutes" set to 0, does this combination disable backup completely? I don't seem to be getting any backups.  All I really want is to only have three backups at a time, I don't really care when the backups happen.

 

Get the following error when I refresh a grid. I'm using ver. V.

 

"Error reading data. Check the source, filter and sort criteria."

 

Tried recreating the grid with the same results. Other grids that are using the same data seem to be okay.

Having recently found out about "Text Editor Anywhere", I immediately thought of IQ--I've wanted the ability to utilize my text editor on grid text, especially larger blocks of text.

Unfortunately I can't get it to save the text back to IQ.  Here's the URL in case someone else wants to experiment.

Havent used the thunderbird extension in a while.

 

It copies to the email grid correctly, but as soon as I click anywhere on the new email item, a download window opens with a dialogue box in front asking me do I want to open or save... (if I click open it opens in a thunderbird window.)

The html pane just shows "Navigation to the webpage was cancelled"

& just now, I got a message:

I know about and use the work around to get reordered TLIs to stick. When dealing with several grids, the work around needs to be expanded so each grid has an ordering field dedicated to that one grid. This gets complicated, but it is not too bad. It is however getting very tedious. Worse is when one forgets to renumber the field after you reorder the TLIs. All the effort is wasted after you re-open the grid. I know this is on the roadmap, but is there any ETA?

1. after entering data in form field, the curso scrolls to top of form in property pane (this was reported before & supposedly fixed

2. when pasting item onto another item w existing children, the item pastes ok but the children icon (small triangle) disappears making it look like all the children have been deleted
