Pierre,

Thanks...Thanks...Thanks!!!

I am a happy camper. The changes you have made to IQ in the past couple of week are phenomenal.

  1. I can create Gantt charts from scratch and no more black bars.
  2. I can move Gantt bars around and they keep working (automatically refreshed).
  3. When I create a dependency, I no longer get an erroneous one.
  4. Set Tree Column is no longer a gotcha.
  5. ECCO Pro import makes sense to me and works great.
  6. Select column works in a standard manner and no longer confuses me.
  7. Right-click on columns menu is much cleaner.
In my recent testing, I still see couple of Gantt issues I'd like to bring up for discussion when I get time to make a video. For example, the user should not be able to change the start and end date in the summary bar. That should be automatically calculated from the start and end dates of the sub tasks.

I've uploaded an update, v0.9.25P1 with these fixes:
  • Fixed: Fast Search not always returning the correct list of items
  • Fixed: Hyperlinks were no longer functional

Thanks. That was quick... hyperlinks work and search grid opens up with the right items subset, and clicking anywhere on an item "line" in the search dialog selects the item. However : It's still not possible to do non-contiguous multiple selections with ctrl-click in search dialog -- I'm pretty sure it was possible before.

thanks Pierre
re Quick Search:
I can now select cells normally with the mouse, but, same as Armando, only single cells/items. Multiple selection with the mouse doesnt work.

Otherwise functioning as should

I don't know when this started, but I can't apply a Color to an item and see it immediately. I now have to refresh. It wasn't like that before. Anybody else?
