Copied this page with copy content checked to IQ and when view & try to scroll program freezes for several seconds.

Tested directly going to this page in IE and it works fine.

Any clues on what might cause this?

Also find that when I directly load the MHT file it takes a few seconds but once it loads into IE I can scroll with no probelm / slow-down which I cannot in IQ

Hi,

The file (if you saved as MHT) is 1MB, as such it is large but no reason to be a problem.

I captured the url (copy to MHT) and it loads fine. And at the same speed as when the same mht file is loaded in IE (which is expected, as IQ uses the IE engine (mshtml.dll) to render web pages

Can you provide some more details and test if this problem also happens in a blank file?

p.s. I also have turned off Tools > options > this file > data storage > Save a copy of the html/mht file in the database

I think I did the exact same.  Copy is not saved in DB and I captured save as MHT.  Just redid the entire operation after deleting old one and have same result.  I takes 15 seconds to load the MHT file in the browser window and then can't really scroll as that takes forever too.  I'm guessing it has something to do with IE beta 8 that I have on my machine - I have Vista 64 and really only use Firefox except when I have to use IE.

It is not the file size as I have a 1.5 MB MHT that loads and views fine:  http://aviary.com/images_orig/blog/tutorials/smoke.htm
