yes, i am using the latest IQ.

I don't know what possessed me to update from IE8 to IE9 but I did it & now I can copy ANYTHING from FF (my default browser) to IQ either automatically or manually. Selection does not make to the clipboard.

And now IE8 doesn't want to install on my system which is running Win 7 Home Premium.

I am REALLY FRUSTRATED now.

Anyone have a fix? Please.

You can uninstall IE9 as described here: WARNING: DO NOT INSTALL IE9

Otherwise, I'm making some updates to 0.9.25W2, I'll look into this and try to reproduce the issue.

p.s. I assume you meant "& now I can't copy ANYTHING from FF ...

Yes, ANYTHING

I can copy email from TB

Followed directions, uninstalled IE9 & back to normal. THANK YOU. Pierre
Now I can continue my work.

I can confirm the issue with clipping when IE9 is installed...

I'll look into this and issue an update

(Thanks Microsoft...)

Yes, seems like a pretty annoying issue as a lot of users are now on Windows 7 and use IE9.

Tks, Pierre. Is this because of IE9 updates?
I ask because we all (you included) that the problem was solved w IQw2.
I'm wondering if it's wiser just to stick w IE8 until MS updates to IE10, then maybe IE9 will work right.

Whatever the problem it really screwed up the entire HTML clipping process because I couldn't clip with IE9 or FF or Chrome. Grrrrrrr.

No, I think it is probably not due to an IE9 update.

The main issue with IE9 was the HTML pane lock on resize. This was fixed by 0.9.25W2. The second issue, disabled New Item dialog HTML editing, was never reported until you did. This prevented all browser and universal clipper from operating.

Thanks for spotting that one !

Hmmm. Odd that I was the first to report it.
I guess either people aren't using IE9 or
they are not clipping or
it's something local -- but then you confirmed it so it can't just be my machine.

Even tho Armando answered this for me once before I'm wondering if there is any real advantage to IE9 over IE8. I use FF & Chrome for browsers. Maybe I should be using IE but left it many years ago as a less useful internet tool. ......And I like supporting the mozilla foundation concept & to help keep MS in line

I use Firefox, then Chrome. I only use IE for testing (I do web development) and have avoided IE9 so far.

The IQ clipper now works correctly with IE9. Will be included in v0.9.25W3
