Hi Pierre,

Problem One: I have been using InfoQube regularly to keep notes for my accounting classes. I have been inserting images into the notes I am taking. These images often refuse to display after a while, sometimes minutes later, sometimes days. The only thing I get is an empty display box with a red X (and the word "image") in the upper left corner. I couldn't find anything in the Options dialogue to remedy the problem. This problem is consistent. Is the image gone or is the data just hiding somewhere? I'd sure like to get the images back to where I can see them.

Other than this, InfoQube works quite well as a note taking application. I am pleased with how it is able to help me organize things.

Problem Two: Not a bug... Is there a way to save the interface layout I create with a file? For instance, I have created a "desktop" with my business document file. But when I opened it in the 0.95.25w9 version, the desktop interface was gone. It would be convenient to have any interface customizations be saved either with the particular document file, or saved in a separate file which I can import into a new document  file

Best Regards,
Will Highfield

In the prior post, I guess what I'm asking for is the ability to create an interface template with which I can replicate my particular arrangement of windows for other document files, or which will keep my choice of interface formatting when I open a document file in a newer version of InfoQube.

One last thing.

This is a feature request, but I am posting it here because it is connected with this thread.

Request:  I notice that cut and paste of images does not work in the html window. My request is that you make it possible. This eliminates my having to create a file of the image I'm trying to insert.

Best Regards,

Hi Will,

re problem #1:
AFAIK adding images is not yet supported in IQ HTML pane - images from web-pages are saved, but that's it.

How to you add the images - paste?

If you do File > Save as MHT, then images are saved locally, within the document and you can edit your document (with Word or free BlockNote).

The HTML pane is to be replaced with a full-featured word-processor which will support images (and much much more !)

Hi Will,

I'm not sure I absolutely get #2. I think I do, but just to make sure : By "saving the interface layout" do you mean to save the way panes, grids and toolbars are positioned in IQ  ?

If this is it, there Is a way to save the "layout" but... only the panes. You can't yet save the way grids are positioned. I don't know if Pierre could add "grids" to the saving... That would be really nice in cases where multiple grids are juxtaposed (like  columns or rows). If the the saving/loading could even save/load specific grids...  it would be even better... :)

Anyway, the current feature is in the "View" menu. "Layouts" -> Save/load.
