Pierre,

I downloaded 0.9.25w9 and gave it a whirl. Noticed that  window tile vertical, window tile horizontal, and cascade are not working. I use windows tile vertical to create my "desktop". Could you include the windows menu by default instead of having us add it manually?

Also, the forum log in is still forgetting my password. I have to reset my password every time I log in.

Last of all. This is not a bug but an aesthetic comment. I don't care for the appearance of the new expanding item symbols, the + and -. Perhaps a rotating triangle (not too small). I realize the EccoPro dots didn't actually do anything but they had a certain appeal.

Hello,
#1 Did you deactivate the Workspace tabs ? I'm asking as otherwise I'm not sure of what you mean by tile vertical/horizontal, etc.
#2 Password : I'm not seeing anything special in your account which would erase your password. I'll let Pierre look into that.
#3 IMO, the + an - signs are clear and make it easy to navigate in the tree -- especially when large. Note that version W10 uses a different and smaller version of + and -.

Armando,

Thanks for the tip about deactivating workspace tabs. It works fine now.

I downloaded w10 but it would not open. Message said "cannot load language file. aborting." Tried extracting files again, but same error message.

I suppose to me + always means "add" and - means "subtract". Visually, I mean. What's that got to do with "contains sub items"? Even a solid circle which turns into a hollow circle makes more sense. Just a visual thing. In the big picture it's not important.

Yeah, that's goofy password behavior but I had to get a new password again today.

Just in case:

For version "10":
Download the latest build, unzip it.
Then (make sure IQ is not running) copy the unzipped file into your IQ folder wherever you have that - it will replace the previous exe file.
Start IQ as normal - should now be version 10.

Hope that makes sense (and apologies if you knew it already!)

I think, the best is to give users the choice... In the next version, users will be able to choose their favorite icon for expand/collapse buttons.

HTH !

p.s. and we can open a thread in the "living room" forum with your creations !

Thanks for that Pierre. My son is a web useability designer. I'll see what he has to say. I've been using the portable version before but I'll keep trying to make w10 work. Again thanks, and enjoy the holiday.

As Tom said, W10 isn't a full version, just a "patch". You have to replace the old InfoQube.exe (where it was installed) with the new one.
