Hi patient IQ Users !

Development is rather slow these days. The reason is dead simple and has nothing to do with my desire to make this project progress...

And the reason is that I'm really busy on some consulting work and have near zero time left for IQ  . This consulting was to be completed in April, but there has been delays and new demands. Current expected completion is end of June.

I'll continue doing bug fixes but new development (i.e. new Calendar UI, Google sync) will be delayed.

In the long run, this consulting work will greatly help pay bills and new developments

Cheers !

Pierre

Hi Pierre
thanks for the update!
the long run sounds good all round :-)

 Hi Pierre,

Happy you are making lots & lots of money. IQ needs it for the new RTF editor -- after your rent & child care of course
But I keep worrying that I'll be too decrepit, brain depleted or dead by the time the calendar is ready to go....

I'm in for the duration. When I read Pierre's post I went looking for a replacement. I always enjoy the search. About half way through my search I realized that InfoQube is invaluable to me because of its ability to do calculations in fields. I now do all my estimating for my remodel business in InfoQube. There are lots of other reasons too.

So, Pierre, as far as I am concerned, go and make a lot of money consulting and make improvements when you can.

Well, as long as I'm here, let me vote for my most pressing need - a real word processor into which I can paste images from the Internet...  rtf format is fine.

Best Regards,
Will Highfield

Thanks for your testimony, Will !
Fortunately for you, I believe a better editor is pretty high on the list. ;)
