I extracted latest portable beta to a portable drive. I also transferred my dB file to the portable drive. Then I opened IQ (no problem). Then I tried to open dB from portable drive. dB has password. Correct password was entered. Continuous loading message but dB never loads.
 
To me it looks like the problem has to do with the password. I know I entered it correctly. Is it possible, something is not working in the password process? Can someone (Pierre) check this out. It's a bit of a PITA & if you do, be sure you have a copy of you dB w/o a password just in case.

I have had problems with my password protected file - it occasionally hangs after I've typed the password.
I use portable IQ.
 
This has been happening for a *long* time, guess I should have reported it before.
Here though, if I kill IQ and try again it works (thankfully)
