Concerning the new calendar, all I can say is that other people's experiences seem to have been much better than mine. I face the following problems:
- The calendar does not remember the mode in which it was previously opened but always opens in a full day mode which wastes a great deal of space.
- My preferred method of navigation around the calendar no longer works. That is to be positioned on a particular day, and to use left and right arrow keys to move back and forward day by day. This has always previously worked and no longer does so.
- Clicking on dates in the mini calendar does nothing – it does not navigate to the date clicked.
- The only form of navigation which actually works for me is to use the slider controls at the bottom of the screen. Incidentally, there is no vertical slider control and I can no longer navigate outside the default time window which I have set, which is 06:30 to 18:30.
- When I can finally see the date on which I wish to make an appointment, if I double-click at the time at wish I wish to make an appointment, a one hour appointment appears on the screen. I then need to double-click a second time, on that space, when the classic event modal dialogue opens. It is not showing the date and time of the appointment which I double-click to. I enter data and press okay and the appointment vanishes. I am still showing the same page as I was previously but the appointment which I created and attempted to change ha simply vanished. This means that at the present time I cannot record appointments in InfoQube.
- I can change existing appointments by double clicking on them.
- I have a long-standing grid called appointments. There is also a long-standing bug associated with this grid which I have never previously reported. That is, regardless what changes I make to the grid, every time I close and reopen it, it only shows the appointments. Any other fields which I add to this view are not displayed and I therefore have to add them on every occasion on which I use the grid.
- I use this grid to view appointments in descending order and thereby to check what appointments actually recorded in InfoQube – as opposed to those that may or may not be showing in the calendar grid. This has always been the means by which I create appointments from imported Excel data, which is an important use case for me since my employer only gives access to its appointments calendar in Excel.CSV format. This is currently the only means by which I can create a diary entry - i.e. import or create it in the grid, right click on the item, select create event, and confirm the modal dialogue which appears.
I suspect that some of these problems are related to the fact that the name I give to appointment items is appointments and not appointment.

OK
Problem remains. I note that if I make changes to a grid in a single session of InfoQube usage, close the grid and reopen it, the grid restores correctly with all columns showing. However, if I close InfoQube reopen it and then redisplay the grid, only a single column is shown regardless of what other fields I established in the grid.
As before.
“New: Calendar: Drag-drop items from a grid to the Calendar to create events. The event text is "Appt for ItemName" and is added as a sub-item”
Perhaps lovely – but, please, how do I have the calendar showing at the same time as a grid? (I have only been using InfoQube for five years!)

is this not simply a case of setting up "dual-pane" view?
Open grid(s) and calendar.
Right-click one of the grid tabs (or claendar) and select "New vertical tab group"
