This has been reported several times, some by me.

Here is the scenario:

1. I have filled a screen with notes.
2. Hit enter key.
3. Next line partially or completely drops off the bottom of the screen (hidden) until I use the mouse to scroll down.
4. Hit enter and repeat.

I am busily working on a project right now and am growing increasingly frustrated by this behavior. Adding to my misery is the "Case of the Missing Cursor." I know the latter is hopefully being addressed in 27. This is too distracting for my workflow right now and is eroding my productivity. Back to Ecco Pro for now.

Hi Jon,

>Adding to my misery is the "Case of the Missing Cursor."

Are you using the installed flavor ? One user reported that this issue is not present in the portable version.

Regarding the first issue, it is not in my hands as it is a grid behavior (otherwise it would be long fixed)
and be assured that I'm putting the maximum decent pressure on the grid supplier to get this issue fixed...

1. I use the portable version.

2. Thank you for your effort, but his really interferes with work flow.

Added 2014-06-14: I'd rather not split my work between IQ and Ecco. I have used crude work arounds to address losing visibility of the added last line, but in the end they have been more trouble than they are worth. How do other users work around this? Also, I really hope that Pierre's fix for the non visible cursor works because this is very distracting.

A few avenues I use:
  1. I add items at the top (pressing the INS key)
  2. Hoist the section I'm working on
  3. Add a bunch of empty items to force the display to scroll
BTW, request was made again today to the supplier for an enhancement on this issue

1. I have tried this before but it becomes cumbersome if the outline is long. Especially so if I have to re-order the new entries toward the bottom of the outline.
2. This is what I do now. Still, I encounter the problem again when I get to the bottom of the screen.
3. This looks viable for now. Armando might have suggested this when I was bellyaching about this a while ago, but I forgot it. Thanks.

Thank you for reminding your grid supplier to fix this.
