Hi IQ Users,

The HTML Pane Zoom appears buggy for some OS and IE versions (IQ HTML Pane uses the IE editing engine)

Specifically, these 2 bugs have been found:
  1. Cursor for some fonts is not positioned correctly
  2. Image resizing is not possible (Win 7 and up)
Are these features really useful ? Can they be removed ?

Is it buggy for MHT files and clipped web pages ? Are we talking here about the same zoom activated by the mouse + Ctrl OR touchpad's pinching?
If not, I'd leave it or maybe -- if possible -- deactivate it only for plain HTML content (directly typed/inserted by the user in the the pane).
Zooming is very important : 1- some screens (mine for instance) have such small resolution that it often makes reading damn hard. 2- Same for pictures.

No, not at all.

The zoom that was implemented in the HTML pane is DOM based:
DOM.Body.Style.zoom

It is not part of W3 standards but supported by IE and Chrome

As such, it is stored in the document itself.

I see. Maybe it's a bit redundant, then. Isn't it ?

I've chosen to disable the Zoom feature while editing, as this is when it was buggy.
When browsing, users will still be able to zoom in/out.

Pinch / zoom enabled computers (mostly using touch screen or touchpads) can still zoom in/out while editing.
