I checked it on both of my computers, and I also reload the web components, but the pivot tavle still doesn't work, the fieldlist box stays empty (there is an icon there, like a red X and a cord  with a plug sticking out of the red X).

Which version of MSOffice do you have installed? Which version of the Microsoft Web components do you have installed? Can you try to download and install the Microsoft Web Components (for the version of Office you have)?

I'll look into it.
Okay, I did -- I have Office 2007, and I've downloaded Web Components 2003 with Service pack 1  2003 Web components for Office 2007 but the pivot table still doesn't work. Does anyone had the same problem with Office 2007? I also get a msg  Data provider could not be initialized, Could not find installable ISAM. Thanks.
Take care,
Jay

OWC 2003 works fine with Office 2007. I've tested that. The message regarding the Data Provider is the key to the solution. Perhaps, your installation of Office is too minimal.

I used standard installation. Is it possible that the office is blocking IQ because of its security set-up?
Update -- I tried it also on my home computer after installing OWC for my 2002 office. And it doesn't work. BTW did you try if pivot table worked with my file? At any rate, I don't know how to find a solution
Take care,
Jay

I just tried it on the Proposals grid of the file sent.

I was getting an error message in the pivot area, but after doing a right-click on the grey area > Reset configuration, it works fine

I've done the same, but no success -- I will try at the other computer later.
