Very frustrated at the moment.  The Item column keeps disappearing in grids for no reason as far as I can tell.

Another one is I'll be doing something in a grid and the next thing I know one column is stacked on top of another.  See screenshot.  How do I unstack them?

As I just reported in another thread I also now can't find "multi-level column headers" which just two weeks ago I was able to find under Manage Grids.

Also, I select a Grid and it opens, then the screen flashes and it jumps back to the previously open grid.

Grids are also losing their source settings.

Oh, and as I added the disappearing Item column back n that just caused columns to magically stack on their own like in the attached screenshot.  Why that would happen because of adding a column I have no idea.

 I'm on release 58a.

Pierre, can really use your help as soon as you see this, as IQ is close to unusable for me at the moment.  The Item column has disappeared from all grids.  I can add it back in but the moment I refresh or close and open the tab it's gone again.  Also the moment I add it into any grid the columns stack as shown in the screenshot.

I have no idea what change I made or what setting would cause this.

Thanks

EDIT: after clicking around on a bunch of stuff that IMO should make no difference ("click to show the source bar" etc.) the issue of the Item column disappearing has suddenly resolved itself, and so has the columns stacking on their own, which was somehow related.  But no clue why.

Hi David,

This is most peculiar. Please report back the IQBase Version (Tools > Help > about > Support Info), perhaps the upgrade process did not proceed normally. Version 3.9 is the current one.

Regarding the multi-level header grid setting, as reported in the release notes, a new more flexible way was implemented in v57, Column > Column Header > Move up/down.

I don't follow on your comment of "version 3.9", I'm on the most recent version to my knowledge, info copied and pasted above,
