Pierre, do you have any idea how you are going to implement this yet?  Is there some type of cloud gateway that you can use so that it will enable those of us that use Outlook to sync?  I really don't care how it's done as long as I can do it.  For instance, IQ<>Google Calendar which I assume us Outlook users could in turn sync with our Outlook calendars?

Thanks

I don't know how IQ sync will work, but what I can add is that Google cal and Outlook* sync pretty well with gSyncIt (which I currently use). It's not free, but I payed for it a long while ago and it's frequently updated.
gSyncIt also syncs contacts, todos, etc. and has lots of options, including syncing with other platforms than gmail (Toodledo, Informant, Evernote, Dropbox, Simplenote, NozBe, Wunderlist...)

Of course, that would be overkill if it's just to import stuff in IQ once, from Outlook.

(The most important thing for IQ Sync: to sync with the most popular, flexible and reliable, online platform. Nowadays, this would be Google calendar, which will easily sync with any phones and calendars out there. I don't think any of the competition comes close. Not even Outlook... and Outlook syncs with Google cal.)

Armando, do you know if gsyncit will allow you to sync Google calendar to a specific Outlook calendar that is NOT the main calendar for the Outlook account?

Yes, in the Outlook sync section, there's a tab for calendar mapping where you can select what Google Calendar will sync with what Outlook calendar. And you can do that for as many calendars as you want.
In that tab, you can also choose the sync direction and sync specific Outlook categories (or not).
There are many other options in other tabs.

I'm exploring a couple of ways, one of which is adapting the following project which syncs Outlook to Google and other on-line calendars. IQ Calendar (and eventually Contacts and Tasks) could be inserted as a middle man. One advantage is that it is actively developed.
