I've been working on customizing colors.  I have a few questions.
 
1) I created a list of new colors in a grid, each with an image of that color as a sub-item.  After I closed and re-opened InfoQube, the images no longer appear.  Instead, I have only file names (eg ItemID5738.jpg).  Why won't the images display?
 
2) The default colors display as a vertical list of named colors.  I replaced this with my own custom list using the same format (Yellow1|&h00FFFF| etc).  Instead of displaying in a vertical list of named colors, I get two rows of unnamed colors:
Actually, I think I like this better than a named list, but I'm curious as to why the colors weren't displayed in a vertical list with names.
 
3) While I'm on colors, I'll submit again my suggestion that at least one field other than "item" be provided for displaying images.  This would allow, for example, a biographical list of names to be displayed with each person's photo next to the name.  This is a cleaner look than having the images buried as sub-items.

Update:  I've done more testing.  The problem occurs every time that I close and re-start InfoQube.  The image shows up fine when I first paste it, but as soon as I re-start IQ, it turns into a file reference.

Looks like I found the answer to the first one.  You have to turn on:  Grid>Pictures.

Hi Wayne,
  1. Pictures (file reference which is an image type) show up as an image when Grid > Show Pictures is checked. When you restart IQ, what is your grid's setting for Show Pictures
  2. No idea why the color names don't show. Perhaps this is by design when the number of named colors exceeds a certain number. I'd can check it if you want.
  3. Excellent suggestion. So if a text field is a file name of image type, the grid will display the image in that cell (when Grid > Show Pictures is checked)

1) Yes, I stumbled on the answer (see 2nd post)
2) No problem.  I actually like it displayed without names because it's more compact
3) I'd be grateful if you could implement this because I think it would give us another nice option for compactly displaying info.
