In grid, I want to select 5 items that are have no proximity, i.e. are not next to each other.
Were they next to each other I would use <SHFT>+down (or up) to select

But I cannot find the key combo to select multiple items that are not next to each other
Ordinarily I would use <CTRL>+click to make this kind of multiple selection but that doesn't seem to work in IQ.... at least, not for me.

Is there a key combo for this function that I'm missing?

Thank you.

User Ctrl-Click on the # column. For a reason out of my control, it does not work on other columns. Grid supplier will be informed of this small issue

we double posted there

I posted about selection in the old forum - dont know did I ever add it to mantis

In explorer, if you want to select from files named 1 to 9
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9

Using Ctrl+Click you can select, say, 1, 3, then if you want to select files 5 to 9 you keep control key pressed: click on 5, add shift key and click on file 9
The bit using shift doesnt work in IQ - would be great if it could at some stage

selection of multiple items was always a bit wierd: well, different from the explorer standard

it seems to be broken now - I cant select multiple sepeerate items with any key combo
