Crash setting backup folder

Submitted by Tom on 2016/11/13 12:41
Unable to reproduce this, so just reporting for the record:

I wanted to add a backup folder in options 2.4.6, using the dialogue box (was previously making backups in same folder as the file)
Noticed there was no create folder button
Navigated to my folder, noticed [OK] was greyed out
At this stage I either double clicked the folder, or maybe the greyed out OK button (I know: why?)
IQ crashed with error details below.

On restart, everything fine: add folder dialogue was complete and all worked fine.

 Yes, everything worked as expected after a restart - (maybe it wasnt even an IQ problem)

Okay, this can be reproduced:
it happens the *first* time you add a backup folder by browsing to folder.
Tested on two machines, both Windows 7 x64

Open new file with sample data.
Options > 2.4.6
=> use the browse option:

^ as you can see there is no [Make new folder] button
=>
below is same option on another file where a backup folder already exists:

I didnt take it any further, just cancelled out -- can go further if you want Pierre
