I thought I reported that but can't find it.

All lines are copied in each cell. Makes it impossible to batch transfer/copy content from many cells in a column to another column (in a grid)

Steps

- number column/field with values, select multiple items/values,
- copy
- select another field/column (number or text), same amount of items
- paste

Everything is pasted in each cell (instead of pasting each value in separate cells like it used to be).

[EDIT : and here's what I just did :

- selected a bunch of separate lines in notepad

- copied
- selected same amount of items
- pasted : no option to paste each line in separate items (copy-special doesn't work). All lines are pasted in each item. ]

OK. I get what the problem is. If lines are pasted in only 1 item, it works -- IQ will offer to paste each line in separate items and create new ones of necessary.

But if items are preexisting (already there and selected), it doesn't.

Note that while related, the bug concerning copy/paste several lines in other fields is probably a tad different as I don't remember IQ offering the "paste special" dialog for those in the past anyway.
