I often hover over tabs mistakenly, which causes unwanted grids (or other stuff) to appear, etc.
One way to prevent that would be to have the option to show hidden grids (or other content) only when clicking on tabs. I'd really love that.
(One exception to the clicking option would be when dragging/dropping something to a tab -- as it's not possible to click while doing that.)
Thanks for considering it if possible!

Hi !

You can increase Tools > Options > 1.6.4. I've set mine to 2000 and effectively, I need to click on the tab to show it.
For drag-drop, you'd need to wait a few seconds to have the pane shown

HTH !

I was going to post this solution just now! (Thanks!)
I suddenly remembered about the delay option. Yes, 2000 does the trick. I just set mine to 1300; takes about 3-4s for the pane the show up, which is an OK compromise.
Problem solved!

It's better than I thought : the augmented delay doesn't affect drag-drop to tabs operations. (which is logical when you think about it -- it's a different situation)
