I'm trying to use icons for the first time but can't get it to work.

Help file says: - To display an icon, in a text field write : <img>name of icon from the icon file</img>

(If the icon name exists, it will be displayed once you leave edit mode.)

I did this:

No icon is displayed.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi Wayne,

Are you in a grid ? perhaps the column is set to display html code. Try using the pop-up editor to insert the icon and report back

It's not in html mode.  Pop-up editor didn't work either.  If I change to WYSIWYG, it doesn't show either unless I'm in edit mode.

Also tried re-starting.  I've had a number of features stop working recently (eg text backcolors).  Each time it was fixed by re-starting, but not for this problem.

 Things to check:
- IQ "icons" folder is there? (*/icons)
- is "cherries" written exactly as it is in the "icons" folder? (Grids' parsing seems to be case sensitive. So if you write "Cherries" instead of "cherries", it won't work.)

Thanks, Armando.  It was the capitalization.  I thought capitalization didn't matter.  Obviously, I was wrong.
