This may be a Windows problem rather than an IQ problem.

When the IQ CHM help file is open, along with IQ, the icon visible in the taskbar shows a Help icon rather than an IQ icon.  Makes it a little more trouble to find IQ.  However, an easy work around is to press Alt-Tab and switch to IQ that way.

Hi Jim,

I'm not sure I follow you on this one... How is IQ different from other apps ? Help files are always shown with the ? icon do they not ?

Sorry, I was not clear.  Say I have an IQ window open and an IQ Help file open in the chm help viewer.  In this case, there are two buttons related to IQ in the taskbar, stacked one upon the other, so that you can't see the icon on the bottom button.  Unfortunately, the button on top is showing the Help icon, not the IQ icon.  So when you're looking for the IQ icon in the taskbar, you don't see it.

OK, it is clearer, but I can't reproduce it...

On my PC (Win10), the 2 icons are always separate, regardless of the "combine" icons setting (I always have it to never combine, but tried other settings with the same result)

well, not it's working as it should ...  I wonder what caused the help icon to appear "on top" of the IQ icon sometimes rather as shown below.

Here the icon shown in the taskbar is the help icon, not the IQ icon.  Not sure what I did to cause that.  Notice also that the help window preview is shown on the left, while the IQ window preview is shown on the right.  An easy way to get the IQ taskbar icon back is to close the help window.  But that doesn't fix not being able to see the IQ icon when both windows are open.  If I close the IQ window, the Help window is also closed in the process.
