1. NO grids show up on the default home page in v96e, they are all gone.

2. In options I have "restore layout settings when opening files" unchecked, so IQ now launches without any open grids. When I then try to launch a grid from my custom home page, which is how I do all grid launching, grids won't open. I have to open the first grid from the View menu, only after I've done that, and have one grid open, can I launch grids from my custom home page.

3. Links to grids on my custom home pages now have to be clicked twice to launch them.

4. The buttons at the top that cycle between home pages also have to be clicked twice to work.

Also, this one has happened for a long time - once in a while when I click on grid link on my custom home page, instead of launching the grid, the Home Page changes to am empty home page with only the name of the grid I clicked on showing. At that point I click the back button to get back to my custom home page, and click on the grid again and it always launches.

Just did a little more testing on this one. It seems a quick double click often causes the one above to happen. Whereas two slower successive clicks, even seconds apart, gets a grid to open properly.

Pierre, FYI 2-4, as well as the issue mentioned in the second post are still present in V97. Let me know if you need more info or a video.

I'm not able to reproduce these issues. Can you try a fresh portable install with a sample IQBase to see if it is a problem ?

Hi David,

I was able to reproduce it when the Home page is detached. The first click activates the pane, the second does the action. I'll see how to fix this

Thanks Pierre. Just to be clear, that behavior is new, something changed in one of the v96 versions to cause it. Previous to that, it was one click.

The issue of clicking on the link for a grid in the home page and sometimes having the home page jump to an empty page with the name of the grid is the exception, that's been like that a long time, though it does seem to be happening more now.

I don't know how long the issue of not being able to launch a grid from the home page until I've opened a grid from the view menu, because I just started having my file open with no grids open for the first time.

Fixed in v97a:

Fixed: Home Page: An initial click was required to set focus to the Home Page before it responded to click events
Fixed: Home Page: Setting focus to the Home Page updated the Properties and HTML panes

Items 1-4 were all resolved with v97a (1 was never actually an issue, I didn't realize the new default on the default home page was for grids to be collapsed). The item below is the only one that still remains. Let me know if you need a video, it's very easy to reproduce.

Great that most issues were fixed. I was never able to reproduce the last one... can it wait till I come back from holidays ? So much to do before leaving on Sunday...
