Hi Pierre,
 
Once every 2nd time (rough average), trying to access the Field properties crashes IQ. It's been like that for a long time  and I was never able to understand what does it. It seems arbitrary.
 
In the screenshot below I right clicked on PriorityGeneral in the properties pane, the hard drive started spinning, IQ froze for 5-10 seconds, and then crash.
That pattern is always the same. If IQ freezes for about 5-10s, I know it,s going to crash.

I'm not able to reproduce it, but this will surely help. In v104
  • New: Field Management: Improved performance for large databases. Nb Items column now updates only visible fields and if the column is more than 10 pixels. Close column to prevent item count update

Hi Pierre,
2 things I noticed yesterday. (Maybe related and maybe fixed by the latest changes.)
 
- Saving changes made to grids in the Manage grids dialog takes for ever here (about 1min / grid... made changes to a bunch of grid and had to wait about 60 min for the changes to be saved)
- Similar for fields in the field management dialog.
