Thanks, Pierre...  Do you think it would  be possible to include a mini db or something listing what has changed between builds? Thank you.

Mantis will be used for this. I'm catching up on backlog and will resume with documenting changes in Mantis

Hi Pierre!

I just downloaded Pre-Release 10. I have the most recent Pre-Rel 7 Build installed currently; I work from the Portable version but I run it directly from my D:\ Drive. I have a directory there named D:\ProgramFiles - not to be confused with the Windows standard C:\Program Files\ directory. From the D:\ProgramFiles directory I run all my non-installer applications (creating shortcuts and moving them to the Start Menu). Keeps them all in one place rather than scattered all around in Documents and/or Download directories!

So that's where the Pre-Rel 7 Portable is presently installed.

Whew! All that just for this:  Can I now just Take the contents of the "Latest Build" download of Pre-Rel 10 and move them into the folder where I have Pre-Rel 7 installed? Or should I remove the Pre-Rel 7 stuff altogether and place the Pre-Rel 10 Portable stuff there? I believe I can, but I ask only because this is the first time I have seen a "Latest Build" download.

I took a short break from SQLNotes for a few weeks, mainly because I was spending an inordinate amount of time playing with it - and unfortunately not getting other things done. < Blushing Icon Here!! >

BTW, if the above is as confusing to you as it looks to me, just yell!  ;)

Thanks!

Jim

what I usually do Jim is make a zipped copy of current contents in case, then copy over the most recent programme version - and then, copy in the latest build file(s)

I dont see why there should be a problem between those versions (pre7 & pre10) but (disclaimer) I'm not the expert

New build was posted. It includes your requested Context Parent color setting and some improvements in the external database sync feature

No, I see that Pierre but when I d/l the "latest build" it is the 04/06 build. And, yes, today is the 8th. I was looking @ May calendar but that doesn't change latest build problem.
