Tried to install release 10 and got the following error message.
 
"Cannot load language file. Aborting"

Normally this is because you did not copy the content of the zip to a folder, but simply tried to open the exe in the zip file

I had extracted sqlnotes.exe from the zip and ran it.

To clarify the previous post, I had unzipped the *.exe, and still got the same error message. InfoCube still will not run.

To be sure, the steps are:
  1. Download the portable zip file
  2. Create a folder on a local storage device (HD, USB, etc)
  3. Unzip downloaded file and copy all files / folders to the just created folder
  4. You may want to create a shortcut for sqlnotes.exe on your desktop
  5. You may want to download, unzip the latest build and overwrite files with the newer files

All is well, it was pilot error. I deleted my last revision then tried to use the Latest Build as a new install.
