The clipper has started adding the current clipboard contents whenever I create a website link.  I updated to 106b and it's still doing it.

I've never used the "add clipping info" feature before but I assume it's implementing that even though that option is turned off in the clipper.

Update:

1) The misbehavior described above occurred at least ten times in a row.
2) I updated to the latest version and confirmed it was still occurring.

I posted a thread here and....of course, it immediately started working correctly.  So I guess I unknowingly fixed it.

Will report back with further updates if needed.

I dont usually save just a link, but tested now, and it is currently saving to the html pane whatever text was last copied.

FWIW the 'add clipping info' should add a link to the html pane (when saving web-content at least), but hasn't done this in a long time. I've been meaning to report, but it so minor. I dont think it has any influence on above problem.

It's back to adding the unwanted text.  A small problem but annoying because I have to select and delete the text every time I capture a link.

Hi Wayne,

Can you specify which "clipper" was used here ? (FF, IE, Universal)

I hope there's a fix for this because it's quite annoying when you're capturing a lot of links.  Each time you have to manually delete the contents of the clipboard that get added to the clip.

As a work-around, I've been clearing the clipboard by copying a blank space but invariably I soon have to copy/paste something and the extra text starts showing up again.

Let me know if there's something that can be done from the Firefox end.
