BTW, that's one hell of a captcha. I had to try 3 times to get past it and I could have sworn I counted the words out correctly each time. This was the last one...

What is the ninth word in the phrase "Lorem sit adipiscing elit, labore magna irure in in fugiat"?

Hi IQ Users !

Updating documentation is a necessary evil. I don't always feel like doing it, but I'm always glad when it's done. I see this as a must-do step to get to V1.0

Recent doc updates are listed here !

The other good thing about updating the documentation is testing less used features. Sometimes, new features even come out of doing doc. v107a is a good example. A couple of bug fixes and a few new features .
Enjoy !

In v107a:
  • New: HTML pane: Open command is now a dropdown button to select a file, a folder (new) or a web page
  • New: HTML pane: When showing a folder, image files can be shown in the IQ's built-in image viewer
  • New: Notifications pane: F2 toggles edit On / Off, Ctrl + C copies the content to the clipboard
  • Fixed: IQ Surface: Notifications pane was not updated
  • Fixed: Notifications pane: Show on mouse move did not work

 Nice, thanks!

Hi Pierre,

Upgraded from 9.104d to 9.017a today.  Loaded Write and it seems to integrate well with IQ, so looking forward to exploring the possibilities.

Lost all my appointments in Calendar though, nothing showing, just blank calendar days.  Don't see how they can actually be lost though, surely that data remains in the database.  Any ideas how I can recover it back into Calendar?

thanks

Hi Doug,

Yes, having hand written notes is an interesting add-on to other types of information. In particular if you have a pen-enabled phone or tablet

As for the Calendar, were these missing events repeating events ?

Those will show up again in v108, but since v105 or v106, they don't know in the Calendar

Hi Pierre,

Using Surface Book since May now, big fan of it and the handwriting feature.

Nope, none were repeating events, all one-offs.  Everything still exists in the Appointment grid, so that's comforting.  In Calendar View and then from Calendar tab have switched away from Event Use > Calendar and switched back again, but that action hasn't "loaded" the appointments.

thanks

OK, perhaps switch back to an earlier version to see if they show there, or else, you can always select the appointment dates in the Appointment grid and do Item > Show in Calendar

Have selected appointment dates in the Appointment grid and done Item > Show in Calendar - has no effect on appearance in Calendar.

So will switch back to 9.104d.

by the way, have loaded a couple test appointments into the new Calendar, and they show in the Appointments grid, right there with all the original appointments that don't show in Calendar

actually, to select appointment dates in Appointment grid and right click > Show in Calendar, then quit InfoQube, then restart InfoQube, then the appointments show in Calendar, so will go with that

Interesting... I'll look into that for v108

Instead of closing IQ, it should be sufficient to change week / month and back (or press F5)

Calendar View is back to not displaying appointments in correct chronological order, and doing a refresh doesn't fix it (F5 or refresh icon).  This was a problem I reported a few iterations ago that was subsequently fixed, but back again with 9.107.a.
