Are grids titled with numeric values allowed?
I made some grids with  numeric values, such as a grid called 25 (for part numbers starting with 25).
After creating the grid, all existing items showed, which didn't seem correct.
After a csv import, with -1 and destination field 25, it seems like it did import these values, but still showed everything in the new grid.
Unfortunately, almost every time, the  program would then freeze/hang, requiring either using the task manager to end the iq session, or (more often) requiring a hard boot.
Things seemed to work fine if tried it again and called the grid n25.

I get the same thing as you when I create a grid named "25".  It tried to load all items and crashed in the process.  I re-opened and loaded just first 1,000 items.  Confirmed that it created a yes/no field named "25" as the grid source.

I couldn't find anything on naming grids but the user manual says field names can be "50 chrs max. Can include any combination of letters, numbers, spaces, and special characters except :  ! * ? . , ` " [ ] | ~"

In short, I don't have an answer but it appears to be a legitimate problem.  I'm still using 9.108Pre8.

Hi !

It should be possible to use a number for the grid name and field name.
There are a few minor issues right now, so in v108a, a message is displayed saying that it must start with a letter.

I tried to create a grid titled "1st degree" yesterday (unsuccessfully), and remembered I'd brought this issue up a while back.
Did you ever determine if it's possible, and is it still on your implementation "radar"?

Thanks.
