I keep forgetting to ask about this. I've noticed a new behavior in the live search grids for quite some time now, can't remember which version I first saw it in.

I can no longer edit any items in the live search grid. If I move the highlight to the Item column, it immediately jumps back to the numbering column at the left edge of the grid.

I'm using 108a portable.

Hi Jim,

You never could edit directly in the Live-search grid. Editing can be done in the Properties pane.

What has changed though, this is true, is that focus is moved to the first column automatically. The reason is to be able to show found text highlighting (yellow).

I have just been experimenting with moving the highlight in the live search grid using the arrow keys. If I move the highlight from the number column to the Item Text column, it bounces back to the number column. However, I have found that if press the right arrow key quickly enough, I can move the highlight to the Shown In, Created, Modified columns, etc., and I can move it back using the left arrow key. But doing so really doesn't accomplish anything except provide a visual highlight. When I select all items, so that the pink background appears, when I use the left-right arrow keys, the highlights move from column to column and that field is highlighted for every selected item.

A bit more important -

(1) the Ctrl+A key isn't selecting all items in the live search grid

(2) Ctrl+Shift+M doesn't seem to be working either.

(3) I can select multiple items with Shift+Arrows, or Ctrl+Arrows, and I can select all items by clicking the column header for the numbering column.

(3) Ctrl+Shift isn't working consistently to show/hide all lines in the items, whether a single item is selected or all items are selected.

Using 108a portable.

Ctrl+A works here
Ctrl+Shift+M also works here

Ctrl+A and Ctrl+Shift+M work elsewhere ? If not, perhaps reset your keyboard shortcuts (Customize > keyboard > Reset All

Ctrl+A and Ctrl+Shift+M working in regular grids, but not in live search, even after Reset All shortcuts.

Ctrl+Shift mostly working, but I'll keep an eye out and try to figure out the situations in which it doesn't.

Ctrl+Up/Down is useful for selecting non-contiguous items in Live Search, but in regular grid, Ctrl+Up/Down scrolls the grid. Any way we can make Ctrl+Up/Down select items in regular grids too?
