When I switch to workspace tabs on the left, the item count shows for a second or two, then disappears..

Hi Keith,

This is "by design"... The idea being to save screen estate for left / right positioned tabs. The tooltip shows the number of items

Ok, I have no problem with that, but it just has the appearance of a bug, with that flashing. Maybe you could change some timing to get rid of the "flash".

However, since it's not a bug, I would like to  suggest it be made an option, for us users with large / wide/ multiple monitors. VERY low priority if you decided to implement.
1) Tooltips are okay, but I just really like to see the counts at all times.
Showing counts (remaining) is definitely a motivating factor to keep at my current onenote to IQ migration (13000 titles imported in round 1, 50% of the copy/paste of content in round 2 completed)
2) it seems a bit inconsistent that icons can be toggled and show on the left/right tabs. (I don't use icons, and would rather have counts show)
3) I'd rather gain a little vertical space by having left/right tabs (with counts) then worry about horizontal space.

Keith, you are intense !

p.s. If you see features of Onenote that could integrate nicely in InfoQube, do not hesitate. I've used Onenote a bit, but am far far from an expert

I will put the "previous pim features to possibly replicate in IQ" on my todo list, and may even include some things I liked in tiddlywiki and evernote 2.2 (incidentally both of which had excellent tagging capabilities; I can't wait to see what you come up with).

I hope you've discovered Dashboards... they are definitely ideal for wide / multiple monitors setups

Hi Keith,

That should help, in v109f :
  • New: Workspace tabs: Icons and item count now have separate settings for horizontal and vertical tabs

 I love it!
Now I'll get back to migrating, and I'll stop interrupting so you can get busy on that tagging!
