I can't seem to change the Internet search engines.
I don't use this feature of InfoQube very often, however if I change something in the 'Options' panel then I expect it to stay changed.
The four default search engines are :-
- http://www.google.ca/webhp#hl=en&source=hp&q=
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
- <blank>
I don't use Google, it tracks you and gathers data on you. It gets even worse if you use the Google Chrome browser, if you do then Google get a full report of your browsing linked to your particular installation of Google Chrome, as if every website had Google Analytics built in even if they don't. Thats because Google Analytics is built into the browser. There's a reason why the are giving it away for free.
If I change the list of search engines in InfoQube then the changes last until I close the program. next run they are back to the defaults. I have changed it several times. I have even edited the options.ini file and the changes last until I run InfoQube, when it starts up the search engine settings are back to their defaults.
I was trying to change the first one to :-
I have even tried adding the search engine to the last entry but next time I run the program it has gone back to being blank.
This should be easy to reproduce, unless it's something linked to my system. The options.ini file is in C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Roaming\InfoQube
