As you may or may not be aware I have been messing about with the user interface of IQ.  I have created a problem which I don't know how to rectify (apart from a complete wipe and re-install which would loose all my modifications).  I was experimenting with the 'themes' which are not an officially supported feature of IQ.  Some of the themes are quite nice however.

One problem which arose when I changed the themes is that the document pane title bar goes black when the document pane has the focus.

I have changed back to the 'official' theme but the black title bar on the document pane remains and I can't seem to get rid of it.

It's been like this for a while and is not a showstopper but it is mildly annoying.

These images illustrate the problem, excuse the large images (they have already been reduced to ¼ of their original size).

Without the focus the title bar appears as normal.  But when the document pane has the focus this happens.

The question is what files do I delete or change to get the original default behaviour back?

Hi Paul !

IQ used to support Themes and it was only removed to be able to focus on the core features

It was always planned to re-enable support for Themes and that time has come.

The standard themes were:
  • XP
  • Office2000
  • Office2003
  • Office2007
  • Office2013
I'm also working on a "Dark" theme, because it is more and more popular...

I will debug this, but it is not high priority. Time will tell how well other themes turn out to be

p.s. The black-on-black pane captions is fixed in v110

HTH !

Pierre,

Have you thought about optionally assigning Themes to individual IQ databases? I regularly have more than 2 databases open and with several detached windows running around, it would be nice to differentiate them visually.

I did solve this problem, you're right it was a leftover from my experiments with themes so I just copied the line in the .INI file from the portable installation at work and it swapped back to the vanila light blue and the problem went away.

I ought to have deleted this post after I solved it.  Sorry.
