Some while ago functionality was added to InfoQube to copy a universal link to the clipboard so other programs could link in to content within InfoQube. This is very useful and it is a feature which I use.

Recently due to updates in the functionality of InfoQube there were certain problems with the menus and toolbars. Pierre suggested that deleting the menu.dat and menuhtml.dat files from the user data folder would cure the problem and indeed it did. It also got rid of my custom icon which I crafted for the 'Copy Link to Item URI' command. This Icon has been lost before.

Perhaps Pierre would like to put the icon into the icon set of InfoQube linked to the 'Copy Link to Item URI' command so that it would remain and be available to all.

Here is a shot of the Icon Editor. It is a big red arrow with a dark red lower edge pointing into a document.

Sorry for this. Indeed, custom icons are also saved in the same file as other customization (and I cannot change that).

What you can do though is simply copy / paste from an image to the button editor, which saves you from recreating the icon every time:

Either create the icon using any image editor. I use IconFx and MS HTML Help Image Editor, both work well
If your icon was created inside IQ, you can copy it when in Customize mode and paste it in the icon editor
Save it as an image file (.gif works, perhaps other formats too)
Later on, to use that icon, open it in any image viewer > Edit > Copy
Back in IQ, open the button editor and do Paste. Voilà !

[edit] I reproduced your icon in the default menu file, so you won't loose that one at least [/edit]

Thank you very much, this is the only command without an icon which I use on a regular basis and felt the need to put on a toolbar. It was modified from one of the existing icons. I doubt I will ever need the icon editor in InfoQube again.
