I created a new IQ Base let's call it A. In A I created 2 new Fields of 1 and 2. Then I created 2 new grids of A' and B'. In grid A' I have 3 columns for the item, 1, and 2 fields all with data in them. In grid B' I have 3 columns as well. I am using two of the same columns of fields 1 and 2. I would expect that the data for fields 1 and 2 on grid A' would auto fill the same fields in B'. This is not the case. The fields of 1 and 2 in grid B' are blank. Does anyone know why or why not?

Hi,

So you have 2 grids. First question: Are they showing the same items ?

A screenshot showing both grids would help

I have attached a screen shot of grid A'. And I will eventually have multiple grids like this one.

From these different grids I want to create an index (grid B')  using the item, Scripture, and SermonNumber plus an additional field in the Index grid. The grid however is not pulling in the Scripture and SermonNumber information.

Hi !

Are you sure The Immutability of God items are the "same" item ? Check the Item ID in the Properties pane

You see, grids are just filters, so you must use appropriate sources if you want items to show in both grids.
e.g. The second grid source is Index. Do the items in the first grid have a value for the field Index ? That isn't clear from your screenshots.
Why not use a different grid source, such as Scripture or another field common to relavant items

The ItemID on one is 1752 and the other is 1753. If I change the grid source in the grid properties from Index to Scripture. Will the data from the Grid Volume_1-10 be pulled into the Index grid?

Yes, you'll see all items that have something in Scripture

Pierre, Thanks, once I changed the source. I was able to get the data that I wanted.
