 Hello,
 
When in a grid Ctrl+E brings up the item editor window so I can immediately start editing the item. When I search for an item in the search grid and hit Ctrl+E it doesn't do anything.
 
If this isn't a bug, can this feature be added please?

On my side, it works in the "Search" grid, but not in "Live-Search". There is a button in "Live-search" that lets you show items in the 'Search' grid. 'Live-Search', I reckon, is a sort of meta-layer rather than an actual grid and doesn't really allow you to perform any actions on items.

Indeed, the Live-Search needs a bit of work to enable most Item commands. For now, you need to show the item in the Search grid. I've added it to the wish list

I didn't realize that was the live search. It does work in the search grid when I click on that button.
 
Live-Search item editor would be great, thank you Pierre.

  • New: Live-Search: Edit and Item menus are now visible
  • New: Live-Search: Context menu commands to edit item(s) and mark item(s)
